Oceania Cruises, Where Destinations Meet Dining

Oceania Cruises, Where Destinations Meet Dining

Oceania Vista – Polo Grill

The Art of the Finest Cuisine at Sea®

There are cruise lines that feed you. Then there is Oceania Cruises, a line conceived from the beginning by a group of food-obsessed entrepreneurs with a singular mission: to make gastronomy the beating heart of every voyage. The Finest Cuisine at Sea® is not simply a marketing line. It is their north star, the guiding principle behind every dish crafted, every ingredient sourced, every experience designed for the curious, the discerning and the genuinely hungry.

The Culinary Maestros

Three Decorated Minds. One Remarkable Table.

Behind the philosophy are the people. Oceania is the only cruise line in the world with two Master Chefs of France, both guided by the legacy of Jacques Pépin, the founding father of their culinary vision. Executive Culinary Director Alexis Quaretti, a member of the prestigious Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, began his journey in Fontainebleau and now oversees all culinary operations across the fleet, bringing precision, innovation and storytelling through food to every dining venue. Alongside him, fellow Maître Cuisinier de France Eric Barale, whose journey began in Toulouse, brings a relentless pursuit of excellence, ensuring every ship’s team has the finest ingredients and resources to deliver on the promise of The Finest Cuisine at Sea. Three of the world’s most decorated culinary minds. One remarkable table.

Dining in Sophisticated Luxury

All Specialty Restaurants Included.

The hallmarks of an Oceania experience are its myriad dining options and the elevated cuisine that runs through all of them. All specialty restaurants are included in your fare, with no additional charge, because Oceania believes extraordinary dining should never feel like an optional extra. Whether you settle in for a leisurely evening at the Jacques Pépin-inspired Jacques restaurant, savour the bold Asian flavours of Red Ginger, or linger over handmade pastas and Versace china at Toscana, each venue is a world unto itself.

“The Finest Cuisine at Sea is truly our way of life. We are dedicated to discovery, adventure and nourishment of the soul.”

Dining here can be the centrepiece of your evening or simply a beautiful prelude to a show. Either way, it is always an occasion.

Wellness Without Compromise

Aquamar Kitchen.

At Aquamar Kitchen, Oceania makes good on its conviction that wellness and indulgence are not opposites. The lighter, wellness-inspired fare is crafted with genuine care for your well-being, without sacrificing a single note of flavour. Fresh-squeezed juices, energy bowls, vibrant salads and mocktails like the Passion Fruit Colada sit alongside heartier, lean options in a space as bright and inviting as the food itself. The philosophy continues throughout the fleet: Aquamar Vitality Cuisine is woven into the Grand Dining Room’s daily menus, and flexitarian, vegetarian and plant-based options appear across every dining venue. This is not a concession to wellness. It is an expression of it.

That holistic approach extends well beyond the kitchen, into the Aquamar Spa and Vitality Center, personalised fitness programs, complimentary yoga and Pilates classes, and the innovative Wellness Discovery Tours by Aquamar, which take the philosophy ashore in extraordinary ways, from reflexology on a rice barge in Bangkok, to a yoga and wine tasting overlooking Santorini’s caldera.

Experiential Learning

The World’s First Hands-On Cooking School at Sea.

Food is the heartbeat of these ships, and The Culinary Center is its epicurean hub. The world’s first hands-on cooking school at sea, now 15 years old and still singular in its ambition, The Culinary Center brings guests together at individual workstations guided by expert Chef Instructors with world-class credentials. The curriculum spans over 100 classes, from the unique cuisines of Japan, China and South Korea to the fresh local flavours of Europe, each one grounded in real-world techniques you can take home to your own kitchen.

Adjacent to The Culinary Center on Oceania Vista, The Chef’s Studio offers something more intimate: seminar-style sessions that explore how cuisine has shaped world cultures, the essential herbs and spices behind great cooking, and the art of the perfect cheese board. It is part classroom, part conversation, entirely memorable.

And ashore, the Culinary Discovery Tours take guests into local markets, private homes and regional kitchens in more than 40 destinations worldwide, led by passionate Chef Instructors who know how to bring a place to life through what it grows, cooks and celebrates.

Mixology Mastered and Wine Curated

The Bar is No Afterthought.

Oceania’s mixologists are craftspeople who can take a sprig of rosemary or a morello cherry and turn it into something your palate won’t soon forget. From a perfectly executed classic martini to the Gracias a Dios with mezcal, ginger purée, blackberries and cucumbers, the bar program is every bit as considered as the kitchen.

The La Reserve wine experiences place the oenophile firmly at centre stage. The Dom Pérignon Experience pairs three exceptional vintages with six extraordinary courses, while sommelier-hosted luncheons and regional tasting sessions bring learning and libations together in the most enjoyable way imaginable. Dishes are created for the wine, not the other way around.
